FIAT LINEA

La Fiat Linea è una World car della casa automobilistica italiana Fiat destinata in particolar modo (ma non solo) ai mercati emergenti. La vettura viene prodotta a partire dal 2007 a Bursa in Turchia dalla Tofas e nel corso del 2008 è iniziata la fabbricazione in India nello stabilimento di Ranjangaon in Maharashtra (in collaborazione con la Tata Motors) ed in Brasile, nell'enorme stabilimento di Betim. Anche la Sollers, uno dei più importanti costruttori automobilistici russi, dall'estate 2010 inizierà a produrre la Fiat Linea nel suo stabilimento di Naberezhnye Chelny. La Linea adotta motorizzazioni a benzina di 1,4 l di cilindrata, aspirato (77 CV) e turbo (120 CV), e diesel Multijet di cilindrata 1.3 l (90 CV) e 1.6 l (105 CV). In Brasile la Fiat Linea aveva un obiettivo di vendita di circa 30.000 vetture all'anno, ma ne vende la metà, al pari dell'India.
